We areseeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a busycommunity emergency department in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellentopportunity to practice in a modern, well-supported emergency department withaccess to comprehensive specialty services.

- 11 private patient care beds
- Dedicated trauma room
- Dedicated pediatric treatmentroom
- Approximately 30 patients per day
- Patients requiring admission aretransferred to the main campus with seamless handoff to intensivists,hospitalists, and specialists
- Collaborative emergency medicineteam
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treatpatients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent medicalconditions.
- Stabilize and manage criticallyill and injured patients.
- Perform emergency procedureswithin the scope of emergency medicine practice.
- Manage trauma, medical, andpediatric emergencies.
- Coordinate care with specialistsand inpatient teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation in the electronic medical record.
- Deliver high-quality,evidence-based emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligiblein Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferred
- Board Certified in FamilyMedicine with a minimum of 4 years of Emergency Medicine experience and/orcompletion of an Emergency Medicine Fellowship will also be considered
- Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALScertifications
- Active Florida medical license orability to obtain
- DEA registration required
