Role: Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN), Outpatient Clinic

Location: Fontana, California (92335) — Southern California / San Bernardino County

Start Date: July 20, 2026

End Date: October 31, 2026 (option to extend)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (36 hours/week)

Patient Census: 20–24 patients per day

EMR: EPIC (Health Connect)

Call: No call responsibilities

Support: Full RN and LVN staff; supervising physician available

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Strong GYN clinical experience and comfort managing preventive gynecology
• Ability to perform and interpret dating ultrasounds down to 8 weeks (own ultrasound)
• Experience with endometrial biopsy (EMB), management of abnormal bleeding, HRT, Bartholin abscess, and PAP screening
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Health Connect) required
• Experience with telehealth/video appointments preferred
• Must be eligible to work in California — candidates requiring state licensing assistance will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GYN care and selected OB services, including well-woman exams and preventive gynecology
• Perform and interpret transabdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds for early pregnancy dating (to 8 weeks)
• Manage abnormal bleeding, HRT initiation/management, EMB procedures, Bartholin abscess care, and PAP screening follow-up
• Conduct video (telehealth) visits and in-clinic appointments as scheduled
• Collaborate closely with RN staff, LVNs, and supervising physician to coordinate high-quality patient care
• Document thoroughly and accurately using EPIC (Health Connect) EMR
