Requirements and Responsibilities

• Ongoing assignment – scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Beeper call with 30‑60 minute response time required
• Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required
• Adult patients required – pediatric patients preferred
• Lap surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and liver surgery required
• Ventilation management, chest tube, and central line insertion required
• Pediatric surgery and trauma experience preferred
• Hospital privileges required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre‑paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
