Job Responsibilities:
- Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including:
- CABG (Arterial Revascularization)
- Heart Valve Repair and Replacement Surgery
- Conduct general thoracic surgeries such as:
- Tube thoracostomy
- Tracheostomy
- Bronchoscopy
- VATS decortication/lung biopsy
- Pericardial Window
- Manage ICU care for high-risk cases, including:
- Impella insertion/removal/bailout
- Medical management of critically ill patients
- Support structural heart procedures in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- BLS Certification
- Ability to manage adult and geriatric patient demographics
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Board Certification - (REQUIRED)
- BLS Certification - (REQUIRED)
- Kentucky Medical License - (Preferred; willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
- Clean background - (REQUIRED)
- Experience with Impella support - (REQUIRED)
- Experience with structural heart support in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab - (REQUIRED)
- Availability for specified dates as listed - (REQUIRED)
