Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Position Type: Locum | Physician - Urology
Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Urologist for inpatient locum coverage in Paducah, KY. This opportunity is to provide call coverage relief for the employed physician.
Coverage needed 2-3 weekends per month (Thursday or Friday AM - Monday AM).
Practice Setting
• Inpatient / Hospital-Based
• The Urology team includes 1 physician and 2 nurse practitioners
• NPs provide ambulatory/clinic coverage only - no inpatient support
• No other urologists onsite during assignment
• Labs and X-rays onsite
The incoming physician will:
• Be on call for urology services
• Take consults
• Round on urology service patients
• Perform necessary procedures and surgeries
The employed physician does not currently perform robotic procedures; however, the facility has 3 robotic systems available and can accommodate a urologist with robotic skills if needed.

• General Urology
• Advanced Endoscopic Techniques
• Ureteroscopy
• Laser Certification - REQUIRED
Credentialing
• Estimated timeframe: 90 days
• Temporary privileges available
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• Kentucky License - Preferred (IMLC accepted)
• BLS & ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
• Flu Shot - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccination - Highly Preferred
• NPDB Self-Query Report (dated within 30 days of presentation) - REQUIRED
