Locum Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Availability : September 11, 7 AM - September 16, 7 AM

Credentialing Timeline : Estimated at 30 days; emergency privileging may be considered.

Position Overview

• Setting : Hospital-based rounds
• Schedule : 24-hour call shifts
• Call Coverage : 10-14 days per month

Case Load : Approximately 1 case per day

Trauma Level : 2

• Operating Rooms : 20

EMR System : EPIC

• Ancillary Support : Team includes 3 Physician Assistants
• Patient Demographics : Adult population

Required Surgical Procedures

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Arterial revascularization utilizing internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery
• Redo coronary revascularization (with or without concomitant heart valve surgery)
• Pericardial window creation
• Heart valve repair/replacement procedures, including mitral valve repair

Shift Specifications

• 7 AM to 7 AM, September 11 through September 16

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certification : Mandatory
• Active Ohio Medical License : Mandatory
• Fellowship Training : Mandatory
• BLS/ACLS Certification : Mandatory
• Must be available for the specified dates
• Capable of performing all required surgical procedures listed
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred

Licensure

• Must hold an active license in Ohio.
