Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Silver Spring, MD

Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Silver Spring, MD Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum Urgent Care Physician or Nurse Practitioner Location: Maryland Schedule: Days | Typically 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (per Order) Assignment Type: Ongoing PRN shifts (per Order) EMR: Experity (Velocidoc) Patient Ages: 2 and up (per Order) Patient Volume: Approximately 20 to 40 patients per 12-hour shift (per Order) Clinical Scope: General urgent care visits and procedures, including suturing, I and D, digital blocks, pelvic exams, ingrown toenail and nail removal, burn treatment, fluorescein stain exam, joint manipulation, and epistaxis control (per Order). Requirements: Family Practice physician or Family Nurse Practitioner with urgent care experience (per Order) DEA required (per Order) BLS and ACLS required (per Order) Board certification required (per Order) NPDB self-query required at presentation (per Order) Clean background and malpractice and discipline history required (per Order) Onboarding: EMR training modules and a paid shadow shift are required prior to independent practice (per Order).
