Locum | Physician Gastroenterology

• Ongoing assignment -- outpatient and inpatient practice setting


• 12 patients per shift


• Call: 1/8 ratio -- 30-minute response time, beeper call


• Call volume: 8 - 12 patients seen per 24-hour period


• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy required


• PEG, esophageal dilatation, banding, and push enteroscopy required


• Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management required


• Hospital privileges required


• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses


• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
