Join the elite trauma team at a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center. We're seeking a locums orthopedic trauma surgeon to provide expert surgical care and on‑call trauma support for a high‑acuity, high‑volume service.

Hospital Highlights

• Level I Adult Trauma Center serving Missouri and Illinois
• Daily trauma census of 35–45 patients
• 2–3 dedicated orthopedic trauma ORs daily
• Strong support team including residents, NPs, and clinical trauma nurses
• Access to fellowship‑trained orthopedic traumatologists
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope Includes

• High‑energy fractures, polytrauma, and periarticular injuries
• Ilizarov techniques, pelvic/acetabular reconstruction
• Advanced hindfoot, ankle, and limb deformity correction
• No elective clinic unless requested

Job Details

• Shifts: 24‑hour call; frequency flexible
• Support: In‑house backup from trauma fellows and residents
• Credentialing: Streamlined for locums; malpractice provided
