Interventional Cardiologist

Seeking for an interventional cardiologist for ongoing locum coverages. Provider will be in clinic (if interested, not a deal breaker) and also taking call. Call varies - if not on call provider will be rounding and doing procedures. The interventional is to help with procedures and rounds and night call at the hospital. Dates of coverage:

• April 14 at 7am - April 26 at 7a
• May 19 at 7am - May 26 at 7a
• Must be able to read ECHOS

EMR-EPIC

What is the shift structure/Job description:

• Average census 8-10
• APP and hospitalist assistance
• Perform add on cath procedures, mainly inpatients, with an average of 8-9/week

• Average census 6-7
• APP and hospitalist assistance

• Monday thru Friday inpatient rounds
• Saturday and Sunday inpatient rounds

Call responsibilities:

• STEMI call

• Clinic 8-4 Monday through Friday (on days that not covering inpatient service)

Average worked callback hours: 9-10 hours

• Board certified interventional cardiology - required
• NE license or IMLC (must have LOQ on hand) - required
• Case logs and CV with work history (name of hospital and month/year) required at time of presentation - client will require before interviewing/offering provider
• Must include a copy of IMLC at time of name clear
