Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Compensation and Pension exams on a PRN basis, either half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours).
- Conduct non-treatment C&P exams focused on interviews and minimal physical assessments.
- Utilize METs testing for evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Complete timely and accurate reporting of exam results, including any necessary addendums.
- Work within your own office or at designated VES facilities within a 50-mile radius.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process for eligible providers.
- Active and unrestricted full nursing license in New York.
- AANP certification.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnostics of respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Ability to perform the role without prescribing or treatment responsibilities.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple).
- Valid nurse practitioner license in New York.
- AANP certification.
- Completion of DMA training for certification, as required.
