Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant for a full-time locum contract position in Illinois. The role is 2 hours from Chicago and involves work at two hospitals.
Schedule and Compensation
Monday‑Friday schedule with weekend on‑call responsibilities. Overtime after 40 hours per week and call‑back pay. Benefits include paid travel, rental car or mileage reimbursement, paid malpractice coverage, and additional benefits.
Qualifications
- Certified PA‑C or APP with cardiovascular surgery experience.
- Extensive ECMO and endoscopic vein harvesting experience.
- Active Illinois physician assistant license – required.
- BLS and ACLS certification – required.
- Proof of COVID vaccination required.
