Responsibilities

Endoscopy Technicians assist with performing maneuvers during procedures such as polypectomies and collection of specimens. The Endoscopy Tech performs EKGs and the placement of a Pulse Oximeter. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Endoscopy Techs obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and retrieve endoscopy reports from EMR system.
• Set up, clean, and care for scopes, the exam room, computers, and other procedure equipment.
• Greet patients and escort them to the exam/procedure room.
