Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs Contract
Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical assistance to the Radiologist, and ensures the maintenance and care of all ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include preparing and examining patients, operating and adjusting ultrasound equipment, and ensuring safety precautions are followed. Additional duties involve capturing images onto PACS, assisting in the orientation of new personnel, and performing administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering telephones.
Required Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Skill in using personal computers and software.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
