Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology | Bronx, NY

Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a gastroenterology team providing care for patients with digestive and liver disorders in an outpatient clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with GI and hepatology conditions such as GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and gallbladder disease
• Perform patient assessments and review medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, labs)
• Assist with GI procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy
• Develop treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and specialists
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and provide patient education

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active New York PA License
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient management skills
• GI or hepatology experience preferred (new grads may be considered)

Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 per year
