Assignment Overview

• Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk

Details

• Freestanding emergency department with 18 beds (24 including RME), operating without a trauma designation
• Serves both ED and outpatient imaging populations
• Averages 108 ED visits per day with approximately 100 combined radiology and CT studies performed daily
• Performs general diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays, and CT imaging
• EMR: Epic (with Epic Radiant RIS); PACS: Philips iSite
• Equipment includes Siemens XCite CT scanner, Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors, Shimadzu RadSpeed x-ray, and GE AMX portable x-ray unit
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-call required approximately 3–4 shifts per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dual-modality Rad/CT experience required
• BLS required
• ARRT certification required: ARRT-R and ARRT-CT (dual role: ARRT-R-CT preferred)
• Active state license required, if applicable
• Proficiency performing CT studies, general diagnostic x-rays, and portable x-rays
• Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Perform dual-modality duties including CT scanning and general/portable diagnostic radiology for ED and outpatient populations
• Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Black scrubs required
• Free surface lot parking available on-site

• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
