We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for specialized onsite yard operations in Taylor, TX. Drivers must be highly skilled in safely maneuvering and backing loaded spread-axle flatbed trailers in a busy yard.
Responsibilities
- Move and spot spread-axle flatbed trailers.
- Precisely back trailers into designated locations.
- Complete equipment inspections and communicate with yard personnel.
- Work safely around construction crews and heavy equipment.
- No OTR travel, route deliveries, loading, unloading, or tarping expected.
Minimum Requirements
- Current Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
- At least 18 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past five years, including 12 months within the past three years.
- Recent, verifiable flatbed driving experience.
- Proven experience backing and maneuvering spread-axle trailers.
- Strong safety record, including no preventable DOT accidents within the past three years.
- Ability to pass background, MVR, drug, PSP, and FMCSA Clearinghouse screenings.
- Ability to provide a complete 10-year employment history.
- No current or prior drug violations, positive/refused tests, or SAP/return-to-duty history.
The operation is expected to run six days per week, with day and possible night-shift needs. Final schedules will be confirmed before hiring.
