Class A CDL Truck Driver
We are looking for a Class A CDL truck driver that can operate in a safe and timely manner to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Transport raw materials and finished goods by way of flat bed trucks and trailers to jobsites and possibly other manufacture facilities.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
- Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process.
- Comply with all state and federal rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company and safety policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions and manifest.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
- When needed drive crane (Boom trucks) to or from jobsites.
- Operator automatic and manual vehicles.
- Loads depends on need at our own jobsites.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a class A CDL driver.
- Hands on experience with GPS, etc.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel locally regulations.
- Ability to handle driving in the city along with highway travel.
- No recent moving or driving violations.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, and etc.)
- Valid CDL Class A license (without restrictions)
- Endorsements are a plus but not required.
