Base Hourly Pay: $25 $28/hour

Overtime Pay: 1.5 after 40

Expected Schedule: hours/week

Why drive with USM?

• Primarily Monday Friday local routes home by dinner daily; occasional half-day Saturdays (typically fewer than 10 per year); no Sundays
• Pre-trip inspections by 6:00 AM; overtime at time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• Quarterly $250 bonus for a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), plus a $250 monthly operational-goals bonus when earned

BONUS OPPORTUNITIES:

• $250 quarterly clean-MVR bonus up to $1,000 per year

• Additional annual bonus opportunity (subject to plan terms)

What you ll do:

Safely pick up, transport, and deliver materials on local routes. Complete pre-trip inspections by 6:00 AM, coordinate with dispatch, and interact professionally with customers when needed. Drivers report to the Transportation Manager and work closely with dispatchers.

What we re looking for:

• Current CDL Class A license; must be able to drive a MANUAL-transmission truck and meet applicable DOT requirements
• Dependable attendance, a strong safety mindset, and professional communication skills for occasional customer interactions
• Two years of relevant driving or industry experience preferred
• Recycling industry knowledge and van, flatbed, gondola, or roll-off experience are pluses
• Successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including physical, driving-record review, background and credit checks, as applicable

Annual wage estimates assume 52 paid weeks at hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours; occasional Saturday hours may affect actual totals. Actual earnings depend on hours worked. Bonuses are subject to eligibility, performance, and plan terms; past operational results do not guarantee future payouts.
