Loans Transformation Project ManagerLocations: Tampa, FL/ Irving, TX/ New York, NYType: ContractHybrid: 3 days onsiteLoan transformation experience.Job DescriptionThe Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team is a critical component of Client's First Line of Defense for wholesale lending and counterparty credit risk. It partners with businesses Client-wide to ensure client has best-in-class risk and control capabilities. ICM also plays an important role in Client's Transformation efforts by helping to drive a Client-wide focus on wholesale credit risk management.
Through ongoing investment in processes, controls, systems, and governance, ICM continues to further embed consistency and best practices across Client, driving closer alignment between client business and regulatory goals. The Lending Transformation Program (LTP) is a key initiative within ICM. The goal is to transform the end-to-end wholesale lending process which will consolidate all remediation efforts for loan product processing and establish a consistent target operating model with a focus on improved processes, controls, and enhanced technology to achieve best-in-class processing capabilities to support our client franchise.
ICM is looking for a highly energized, dynamic project manager with knowledge of wholesale lending (preferred). They should be ready to join a fast paced, world leader in the financial services industry. Looking for someone who communicates well, can adapt easily to change, has good leadership qualities, and is organized.Key ResponsibilitiesLeads planning and coordination of day-to-day Program and project workstream(s) activitiesCoordination of stakeholders to develop functional strategy, project activities and identify dependenciesDirects the identification and escalation of risks and issues impacting workstream delivery and ensures mitigation strategies are developed and executed that address key risks and issues.Works with program lead to ensure project prioritization and plan is in line with objectives and business needs.Leads meetings including governance, workshops and working groups.Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery.Directs communication of program status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders and governance forumsManages multiple cross functional teams to achieve project goals.Prepare material for Senior committee meetings and Regulatory bodies.Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve cross functional issues.Ensures creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.Collaborate with challenge functions in Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit.Ensure transformation outcomes adhere to enterprise control policies, standards, and procedures.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client-group, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications and Competencies6 plus years' experience in project management and business analysisBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredExperience working in a fast paced financial services firmsExperience with creating executive presentations and working with large sets of excel dataPMP or equivalent certification is preferredWholesale Lending Experience preferredProven record of delivery in process and organizational changeShould demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detailAbility to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholdersStrong organizational leadership and influencing skillsProactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/requestsCapable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environmentExcellent oral and written communications skills; Must be articulate and persuasive.Works well under pressure and in tight deadlines.
