Processing and pre-underwriting specialty loans, the full-time hourly Loan Processor III, Specialty Loans will ensure compliance with various mortgage standards while serving as a liaison between loan officers, borrowers, and underwriters in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Monitor the overall lending process, identifying and resolving issues to ensure timely loan closures Analyze loan documentation for compliance and accuracy, preparing files for submission to underwriting Coach and provide guidance to less experienced processors as needed Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business, Finance/Accounting, or related fields preferred Five or more years of experience as a Loan Processor, with expertise in conventional, FHA, VA, and Bond mortgage loans Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes and federal/state regulations Proficiency in analyzing complex financial documentation related to mortgage applications Strong judgment and critical thinking skills to evaluate facts and data effectively
