Commercial Loan Officer-Provo and Salem, UTWe are seeking a motivated, experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our growing company. In this position, you will evaluate and approve or deny loan applications. You will act as a liaison between financial institutions, individuals, and businesses applying for loans as well as process loan applications, solicit loans, and act as intermediary for creditors and borrowers.About Us Client is a community-focused financial institution that reflects the positive nature of its native Utah.

Offering competitive employee perks and a beneficial wellness program, client is an inclusive, growing organization that offers a thriving culture and opportunities to earn a living.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate credit and financial historiesEngage with customers and clients to determine loan needsPrepare loan proposalsProcess loan applications and documentationAdvise clients on loan policies and restrictionsMaintain and update client account recordsCoordinate with team to meet scheduled closing datesSubmit loan applications and documentationsMaintain compliance with local, state, and federal lawsInterview loan applicantsAdvise borrowers on financial status and payment methodsPerform any and all other duties neededRequirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field preferredMortgage loan officers must be licensed as mortgage loan originators (MLO)State loan officer license from the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of local, state, and federal loan regulationsStrict adherence to company financial policies and processesExperienced at compiling and following policies and processesAble to analyze financial records and transfer data
