Ideal candidates are passionate, innovative problem-solvers who contribute to a culture of delivering results with pride and are empowered to enable growth and progress together with the firm.ResponsibilitiesLead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processesAnalyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problemsProvide expertise in area of advanced knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projectsDevelop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementationUtilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas to achieve technology goalsConsult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system designAllocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team membersInfluence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external partiesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience in Loan IQ SDK (Software Development Kit) and API development experienceHands-on development role with expectation to code dailyExperience in implementing projectsExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsDemonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Loan IQ Applications DevelopmentDemonstrated knowledge of client core business functionsDemonstrated leadership, project management, and development skillsRelationship and consensus building skillsExperience with REST, JMS, SOAP, and Microservices architectureExperience with Spring Boot, Swagger, Tomcat and JSON /XML processingExperience with messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka, TIBCO, IBM MQ)Strong knowledge of SQLFamiliarity with Windows and Linux environments; ability to write shell and batch scriptsSolid understanding of Java concepts including threading, collections, exception handling, JDBC, OOP/OOD, GoF design patterns, and file I/OExperience with CI/CD tools and processesEducationBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
