Drive compliance.As a Loan Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Bank's loan operations by ensuring accurate loan data entry, funding, maintenance, reporting, and documentation. Additional benefits include a Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care FSA, voluntary accident and critical illness coverage, and 100% employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and group life/AD&D insurance, as well as optional voluntary life/AD&D coverage.Operational Impact – Play an important role in the loan process by ensuring loan records, funding, and reporting are completed accurately and efficiently.Collaborative Environment – Work alongside loan operations professionals in a team-focused and supportive workplace.Career Development – Build expertise in loan servicing, regulatory compliance, and banking operations while advancing your banking career.What You'll DoPerform daily data entry for new and renewed loans, loan advances, maintenance requests, and loan payments within the Bank's core systemReview loan approvals and closing conditions to ensure all requirements have been satisfied prior to fundingProcess loan funding entries and disbursements accurately and in balance with approved documentationMaintain loan account information and perform required loan servicing activitiesAssist with monthly reporting requirements, including FHLB, SBA, and PCBB reportingReview internal reports and exception reports to identify and resolve missing or inaccurate loan dataReview loan agreements and enter covenant tracking and monitoring ticklers as neededVerify the accuracy of loan maintenance and payment processing activitiesEnsure electronic loan documents are uploaded and stored properly within the Bank's filing systemsFile and maintain both physical and electronic loan documentationAssist customers and bank personnel with loan-related inquiries and requestsSupport loan operations staff with notices, transaction posting, and general operational dutiesReview general ledger accounts, internal loan accounts, floor plans, and holding accounts to identify and resolve discrepanciesReview daily operational reports and assist management with compliance-related reportingAssist with mortgage filings, UCC filings, participation payments, insurance tracking, and paid-out processingProcess mortgage escrow transactions and support insurance and tax disbursementsProvide backup support for annual reviews and other departmental responsibilitiesPerform Loan Operations Specialist responsibilities as neededRecognize and report potential fraud, scams, phishing attempts, and other suspicious activityStay current on banking regulations, security procedures, and compliance requirementsRequirementsRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; finance, accounting, or other business-related fields preferredExperience: 3-4 years of general banking experienceValid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportationHigh level of professionalism and integrityStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamFlexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous learningAbility to work onsite and maintain regular attendance based on business needsPreferred Qualifications2 years of commercial and/or commercial real estate loan servicing experience2 years of loan data entry experienceExperience with loan funding, loan operations, and regulatory reportingKnowledge of commercial lending documentation and loan servicing processes
