Loan Closer – ConsumerFirst Federal Bank of Louisiana is currently seeking a Loan Closer – Consumer in the Loan Processing and Closing Department. Prepares and reviews legal documents for closing.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following:Processes all originated new and renewal non-real estate consumer from time of approvalAssists Loan Review with review of appropriate documentation prior to loan closingAssembles and verifies accuracy and completeness of consumer loan documentationAnswers telephone and written inquiries concerning consumer loan processingEnters data into computer for loan documentation trackingPrepares bills of sale, power of attorneys, and other documentation, as neededAssists with preparation of corrections for DMV, UCC, and other consumer filingsPrepares legal documents for loan closings; coordinates closing appointment with lenderReviews closing documents for content and accuracyReconciles the GL account for the consumer loans; transfers funds as appropriateScans, indexes, and verifies new consumer loan documentationPrepares, reviews, and maintains reports, as neededCompliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDA minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or trainingSome college or business school preferred, but not requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
