Loads & Dynamics Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global's candidate is looking for a Loads & Dynamics Analyst for our client. The Loads & Dynamics Analyst will lead loads development and dynamic analysis for solid rocket motors, vehicles, all-up-rounds, and propulsion systems. This role will support products from development through qualification and production, providing analysis and technical feedback to design, test, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform loads development and dynamic analysis for motor and vehicle programs, including vibration, shock, modal, acoustic, and system-level dynamics.
• Develop load spectra and propagate loads to motor and vehicle components for service-life assessment.
• Develop, verify, validate, and improve structural models and analytical methods.
• Partner with test teams to define testing and instrumentation needed to validate analytical models.
• Support design teams with analysis and recommendations throughout development and qualification.
• Assess nonconforming hardware and provide recommended engineering dispositions and repairs.
• Support the transition from development through low-rate and full-rate production.
• Develop and improve analysis processes, models, and tools to increase engineering efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers.
