This a full-time, 1st shift opportunity with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. This opportunity offers a competitive wage and an outstanding benefits package.This position is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, NE.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materialsRotate stock for first in first out usage and/or ShipmentsConsult with Shipping or Receiving Supervisor for required materialsAdvise Quality Control daily of any problems with ingredients or finished goodsInspect trailers for sanitation using BB Trailer Inspection form.Advise Shipping/Receiving Supervisor of any shortages, damages, etc.Keep Warehouse aisles clean of debris, boxes, pallets, etc.Repair or destroy any damaged ingredients or finished products as directed. If destroyed, report type, quantity, resource and lot numbers and location to Shipping/Receiving SupervisorMaintain forklifts with proper charging and water in batteryMaintain adequate records of receiving and/or shippingDo monthly cycle counts on various items per managementDo physical counts as instructed per managementOther duties as assigned by Plant ManagementQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of OSHA safety requirementsBasic computer knowledgeGood communication, verbal, written and math skillsWork and cooperate with all fellow employeesThorough understanding of cGMP'sKnowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety PlanKnowledge of FSMAAbility to operate a forkliftPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to safely lift up to 55 lbs.
