We offer the broadest product line in the flat glass industry including low-e products, laminated glass, tempered safety glass, tinted glass, reflective glass, and specializes in the manufacture of thermal efficient insulated glass units (Dual Pane Units).Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a loader and crane operator. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self–driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry.
The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc.Responsibilities may include:Utilize the appropriate handling equipment to move panes and/or palletsOrganizing window panes onto transportation or storage racks.Loading completed product onto glass trucks for delivery.Requirements:Ability to safely lift 50-75 poundsMust be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8"Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day.Ability to complete simple computer task.Ability to communicate in EnglishBackground Check/Drug ScreenQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentAuthorized to work in the USJob Type: Full-time
