Unloader Position at Ryder Ferrera

As an Unloader at Ryder Ferrera, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming shipments from trucks using manual or forklift equipment.
• Sort, scan, and stage materials for storage or further distribution.
• Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and delivery documents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members and warehouse supervisors to meet operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in warehouse operations or unloading preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems is a plus.
• Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting with varying temperature conditions.
• Requires physical endurance and adherence to safety guidelines.
