Loader And UnloaderThe loader and unloader is responsible for manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility.
Responsibilities include setting up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in, pattern load in system, secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.), unhook trailer once loading is complete, inflate air bags as needed, locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed, performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized, and performs other duties and special projects as assigned.Qualifications include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight, must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand, must be able to operate a golf cart to transport materials and travel through facility, ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.Equal opportunity employer/protected veterans/individuals with disabilities.LA County applicants: The company will consider qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with applicable state and local laws.Profit center PC-809
