Job Overview
Right at Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide ongoing care for an elderly male client in Corpus christi, TX . We are looking for someone who is able to live in the client's home and provide daily support while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
The client uses a wheelchair, she cannot ambulate independently, has no memory impairments, and enjoys a consistent daily routine. Your role will be to ensure his safety, dignity, and overall well-being while assisting with his personal care and daily needs.
Position Details
- Live-in position (caregiver will reside in the client's home)
- Private living accommodations provided
- Additional time off and schedule details will be discussed during the interview
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide full transfer assistance
- Assist with urinal use and brief/incontinence changes
- Assist with bathing (shower chair and handheld shower available)
- Help with daily personal care routines
- Light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Coordinate care with the hospice team as needed
- Monitor the client's comfort and safety throughout the day
Requirements
- CNA certification preferred; relevant caregiving experience required
- Experience working alongside hospice teams is a plus
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to live in the client's home and provide consistent care
- Ability to pass a national background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
Pay: $13.00 per hour
