Estrada Law Group APC is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Associate to join its Litigation Department. This role is responsible for independently managing a full caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution, with an emphasis on efficient case progression. Compensation- $120,000 | Bonus: Generous bonus structure to be discussed at interview Responsibilities: • Independently manage a full litigation caseload • Develop case strategies and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case arguments, staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents • Represent clients in deposition, court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials • Prepare detailed memos and analyses of case outcomes, providing insights for future case strategies and firm practices • Overseeing litigation files, starting from initial filings to requests for dismissals • Work closely with clients to provide legal guidance and case updates • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers • Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and ethical obligations • Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress and ensuring they are informed and prepared for litigation • Mentor and coach paralegals and legal assistants, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance Qualifications: • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California • 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience, including first-chair or significant second-chair court appearances • Strong working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure, California Rules of Court, and Evidence Code • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including motion practice and deposition experience • Proven ability to evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value, and to negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and insurance carriers • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload under deadline pressure • Proficiency with case management software (Clio preferred) and Microsoft Teams • Reliable transportation for court appearances, mediations, and depositions throughout California • Experience with auto accident, premises liability, trucking, wrongful death, dog bite, matters Compensation: $120,000 + Bonus
