Litigation Supervisor, Family Defense Practice
This is a remote position out of Bronx, NY
Salary: $120,500 - $144,700
Position Summary
A leading public interest legal organization is seeking a Litigation Supervisor to oversee and mentor attorneys representing indigent clients in family defense and related matters. This role combines litigation leadership, attorney supervision, training, and strategic program development.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of attorneys.
* Provide guidance on litigation strategy, case management, and trial advocacy.
* Review cases and ensure high-quality client representation.
* Assist with hiring, training, evaluations, and professional development.
* Collaborate with leadership on program initiatives, policy development, and organizational goals.

Qualifications
* J.D. and admission to practice law in New York (or eligibility for admission).
* 4-6 years of Family Defense experience (Article 10/TPR matters) or 7+ years of Criminal Defense, Immigration Defense, Housing, Benefits, Mental Health, or similar public interest litigation experience.
* Prior supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong litigation, leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
* Commitment to serving vulnerable populations and advancing equitable outcomes.
