ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking to hire a Claim Professional to join as a key member of the Falcon Claim Services team. We offer a unique opportunity to join a well-funded company in its early stages. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage claims involving public and private Management Liability policies, including Employment Practices Liability, Directors and Officers, and Crime claims.
• Opportunity to learn additional coverages.
• Opportunity to assist with endorsement and policy development.
• Follow company guidelines and industry best practices with minimal supervision.
• Complete investigations on claims, including coverage evaluations in a timely manner and fully document the claim file.
• Identify claims with a potential for high exposure.
• Accurately reserve each claim within the given claim authority level.
• Promptly seek authority for claims requiring reserves or payments above their authority level.
• Timely complete Large Loss Reports with minimal assistance.
• Maintain the diary system, assuring that each assigned claim receives the proper attention.
• Travel to attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials as required.
• Utilize the claim system to accurately post reserves and make payments within the delegated authority level.
• Assign, manage, and direct counsel and the litigation process to ensure that claims are resolved in an efficient manner to achieve quality resolutions.
• Resolve matters in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial divisions to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Maintain adjuster licenses in states agreed upon with the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• JD, preferred.
• 3 - 10 years of experience handling management or professional liability claims.

This position is based in New York, NY. The job will require 3 days in the office per week. xzgxqkn $115,000-$190,000 per year plus bonus with a range of 10 – 20%, commensurate with experience.
