This position reports to practice group shareholders and associates for work product prioritization and conflict resolution. In addition to competitive compensation, we are proud to offer our employees:Comprehensive benefits packagesGenerous paid time-off401k plan with profit sharingFree parkingBush Ross is an EEO employer.Essential responsibilities of the position will include:Draft legal documents including, briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, etc.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, judicial administrative staff, vendors and courtsCompile information for discovery, pleadings, motions, and assisting in trial preparationPerform initial drafts of discoveryCreate discovery logs and issuing Requests for CopiesOrganize, track, and maintain original documents and electronic filesFile documents with the courts or other government entitiesAssist attorneys with document review to assist with case developmentPerform legal and factual researchPerform records researchOrganize, analyze and validate informationOrganize and maintain paper and electronic client/matter filesAssist with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial bindersAccurate input of time into Time and Billing systemOther duties as assignedThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:3+ years of litigation paralegal experienceExcellent attention to detail and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent research and analytical skillsMust be a self-starter, professional, and team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesProficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Relativity or e-discovery platformFamiliarity with electronic filings with governmental entities and document management systems
