A respected litigation practice in the Tampa area is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its established Insurance Defense team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex defense matters alongside a collaborative group of attorneys and legal professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense litigation, with medical malpractice experience viewed as a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through resolution

• Prepare and manage pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and case documentation

• Coordinate the collection, organization, and review of medical records and related evidence

• Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

• Monitor court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars

• Communicate with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel

• Maintain organized electronic files and case management systems

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience

• Strong insurance defense experience required

• Medical malpractice defense experience highly preferred

• Knowledge of Florida court rules, procedures, and deadlines

• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
