Remote Contract General

Foreclosure ParalegalALAW, an established, multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm, is seeking a qualified Foreclosure Paralegal to join the team. This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, and a full benefits package.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough legal research related to foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.Review and analyze foreclosure documents, contracts, and financial records.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, ensuring all necessary documents are properly filed and organized.Case Management and Support:Collaborate with attorneys to manage a high volume of foreclosure, eviction, and collections cases from initiation to completion.Coordinate with clerks, judge's offices, opposing counsel, and in-house attorneys to schedule hearings, trials, mediations, and other appearances.Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progression.Prepare and distribute legal correspondence, notices, and other communications as required.Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, hearings, and trials by organizing evidence, exhibits, and other case materials.Maintain and update case management systems to track deadlines, court dates, and case developments.Client Relations:Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing inquiries.Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary documentation and information for foreclosure proceedings.Ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information throughout the case process.Compliance and Quality Assurance:Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to creditors' rights and foreclosure.Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of case files and documentation.Requirements:Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in the area of creditors' rights.Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources and platforms.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in a professional manner.Join our team and become an integral part of our creditors' rights law firm specializing in foreclosure work.
