Vernis & Bowling’s North Palm Beach office is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Directors & Officers (D&O), Condominium & Homeowners Association Law, and Employment Law practice.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience in insurance defense or civil litigation. Candidates should have strong writing and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, have the ability to independently manage discovery and court deadlines, and maintain familiarity with Florida state and federal e-filing procedures. Paralegal Certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft standard pleadings, discovery requests, and responses
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial prep
- Manage docketing, calendar deadlines, and state/federal electronic filings
- Review records and assist in preparing litigation reports
