Bright Line Counsel is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented paralegal to support a busy family law practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing complex information, solving problems, coordinating multiple priorities, and taking ownership of responsibilities from start to finish.
While prior family law or paralegal experience is beneficial, it is not required. We are equally interested in candidates from other legal practice areas or professional backgrounds where accuracy, document management, analytical thinking, and persistent follow-through are essential.
The right candidate will be resourceful, dependable, comfortable working independently, and motivated by the opportunity to become an integral part of a collaborative legal team.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage attorney calendars, court dates, appointments, and filing deadlines.
- Prepare and assist with legal correspondence, forms, pleadings, discovery materials, and other documents under attorney supervision.
- Assist with hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and supporting materials.
- Accurately track, record, and capture billable time contemporaneously, including identifying billable activities and assisting attorneys with timely, complete, and accurate time entries to maximize appropriate billable time capture.
- Anticipate attorney needs, communicate progress, and follow through on assignments without requiring constant supervision.
