Plaintiff Personal Injury ParalegalWell known and established 10 Attorney Law Firm seeks an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal, with a minimum 3 -10 years of experience (Plaintiff or Defense), to work for the named Partners. This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation, be able to handle a case load of 50 plus cases that are in progress, and have excellent scheduling and calendaring skills. You will not be writing briefs and doing a lot of research.
Your work consists mostly of case management and discovery: preparing Complaints, 16.1 Disclosures, respond and propound discovery, preparing exhibit binders and preparation for trial. Trial experience is a plus for this position. You will also be ordering, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and preparing deposition summaries.
Candidates should also possess the following skills:Knowledge of the Local Rules of Civil Procedure and FRCPE-filing experience in both State and FederalTrial experience is a huge plusUnderstand and have knowledge of calendaring and SOL'sAble to work as a team or independentlyComputer savvy with MS Word and preferably case management savvyStrong in the discovery processPossess excellent case management skillsHave excellent time management skillsHave a friendly and compassionate demeanorThis is a 37.5 hour work week.
