LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently partnering with a well-established law firm in Tampa that is looking to add an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys being a key member of the legal team.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting construction defect litigation, although professionals with a strong insurance defense litigation background are also encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys
• Draft, revise, and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Coordinate Florida state and federal court filings, including e-filing
• Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
• Organize and maintain case files, documents, and litigation records
• Assist with document production, discovery responses, and exhibit preparation
• Coordinate trial, mediation, and hearing logistics
• Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
• Enter attorney time and assist with billing support as needed

What We're Looking For

✅ 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience

✅ Experience supporting construction litigation, construction defect, or insurance defense matters preferred

✅ Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures and e-filing requirements

✅ Excellent proofreading, document formatting, and organizational skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a deadline-driven environment

✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document/case management software
