Seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for Plaintiff-side Personal Injury firm (onsite) in Downtown Chicago
Job duties:
- Manage a large volume of cases (40-80)
- 3+ years of Litigation experience in Personal Injury
- Liaise with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters and claims representatives to obtain authorization for medications, treatments, and surgeries for clients
- Draft routine motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Prepare and compile specials for insurance carriers
- Request clients’ itemized bills and medical records
- Spanish fluency is a plus
Compensation:
- Pay: $32/hr - $36/hr, DOE
- Overtime opportunity available
