Litigation Docket SpecialistThe Litigation Docket Specialist is responsible for performing entry level litigation-related services for the Firm and possessing basic knowledge of litigation practices. This role helps track case deadlines, update case information, and monitor court filings to ensure important dates are recorded accurately.Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesReview emails and requests received and draft appropriate responses to attorneys and Firm administrationPerform entry level docketing and calendar updates within Firm docketing softwareCommunicate with case teams on various litigation related mattersAssist with and train on basic electronic filing in federal and state jurisdictionsPerform due diligence litigation docket searchesPerform quality checks on docket entriesEscalate complex docketing questions or issues to Senior Docketing SpecialistCommunicate with court personnel via phone and email, as necessarySelectively bill time as authorized by partnersConfer with outside vendors for retrieval of legal documents and transcriptsSupport the litigation support team with administrative and operational tasks as related to docketing and case trackingPerform other duties as assignedEducationBachelor's degree is requiredSkills and Experience0 to 2 years of relevant experience requiredAbility to manage multiple/simultaneous requests, assign priorities and achieve solutions within deadlinesKnowledge of the entry level litigation docketing and calendaring processAbility to communicate basic litigation processes to case team and attorneysMust be able to work independently and collaboratively in a highly competitive and demanding environmentStrong attention to detail and self-motivated to produce accurate, timely and complete work productStrong written and verbal communication skills and excellent research and analytical skillsSalary InformationNY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 at the time of posting.The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
