Litigation Attorney (Warranty)

Litigation Attorney (Warranty)Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify a mid to senior level Trial Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its Litigation Business Unit in California. The Attorney will work exclusively on a team defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar, and local to one of our three California offices.

Each office is on a hybrid schedule with three days in office and two at home. Warranty litigation experience is not required; however, all candidates must have the following experience/skills:Extensive trial/arbitration experience, including opening statements, closing arguments, witness examination, motion practice, deposition, and mediationExceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skillsStrong academic credentialsDetail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethicStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $170,000 – $200,000 annually (DOE).Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Comprehensive benefits including health insurance with HSA/FSA optionsDental, visionShort-term and long-term disabilityLife insurance401(k)Vacation and sick timeParking/public transportation allowanceEmployee assistance program.
