Litigation Attorney (Associate)Location: Walden, NY (Orange County) - Fully in OfficeSalary: $150K - $200K + BonusGrowing established law firm seeks a litigation attorney to join their team!Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of litigation from case intake through trial, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and negotiationsDraft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and memorandaConduct legal research to support case strategiesAnalyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigationRepresent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trialsManage and prioritize a dynamic caseload in collaboration with senior attorneys and support staffMaintain client communication and foster strong client relationshipsSkills & Experience:Juris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive New York Bar Admission (in good standing)5+ years' experience of courtroom litigation experience in NY, with a focus on civil or commercial mattersStrong oral advocacy & legal writing skillsProven ability to manage cases and casework from inception through resolution while meeting deadlinesTrial or arbitration experience
