Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

The firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice in Towson, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to represent businesses, employers, and commercial clients in a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling commercial litigation, business disputes, employment-related matters, contract disputes, and other complex civil litigation cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Represent businesses in commercial and corporate disputes.
• Handle employment-related litigation, including restrictive covenant and non-compete matters.
• Collaborate with corporate attorneys to develop practical business solutions for clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal counsel.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Maryland Bar admission required.
• 3+ years of commerical/business litigation experience required.
• Experience with commercial, business, employment, or corporate-related disputes.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The base salary for this position is between $150,000 – $200,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
