We're looking for an attorney with deep civil procedure expertise who thrives on building cases creatively—from filing to trial preparation—and who can operate as both a leader and a hands-on litigator.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day litigation activities and oversee junior staffDevelop and execute discovery strategies, including propounding/responding to discovery, drafting meet-and-confer letters, and preparing motions to compelDraft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and motions, including MSJsConduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expertsPerform legal research and factual investigationsAttend court hearings and argue motionsPrepare clients for depositions, mediations, and trialFirst- or second-chair trial experience and prior insurance defense experience are strong plusesQualifications:Active member of the California State Bar5–7+ years of civil litigation experienceCompensation: $175,000 – $220,000 (depending on experience)Benefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off
