Responsibilities:
$175,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience)

A high-performing civil litigation practice is seeking an experienced litigator to lead a dynamic caseload focused on plaintiff-side personal injury and tenant rights. We're looking for an attorney with deep civil procedure expertise who thrives on building cases creatively-from filing to trial preparation-and who can operate as both a leader and a hands-on litigator.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day litigation activities and oversee junior staff
- Develop and execute discovery strategies, including propounding/responding to discovery, drafting meet-and-confer letters, and preparing motions to compel
- Draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and motions, including MSJs
- Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Perform legal research and factual investigations
- Attend court hearings and argue motions
- Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, and trial
- First- or second-chair trial experience and prior insurance defense experience are strong pluses
- Active member of the California State Bar
- 5-7+ years of civil litigation experience
$175,000 - $220,000 (depending on experience)
