Our client is seeking a 3+ years experienced Defense Litigation Attorney to handle complex civil defense cases from inception to trial.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of civil defense litigation matters independently.
- Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and respond to discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and negotiate settlements.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and maintain accurate billing records.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted and in good standing with the (State) Bar.
- Minimum 3 years litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
- Strong courtroom, deposition, research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools.
