A full-service regional law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its well-established insurance defense trial practice in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The team has a national reach and represents clients in a diverse range of litigation matters, including product liability, consumer fraud, premises liability, manufacturing defects, industrial accidents, and transportation. The practice is led by a seasoned trial attorney who is a leader at the firm and has been recognized as a top attorney in the field by leading legal industry publications.
The team is seeking an experienced litigation attorney who is looking to play a key role across all phases of a robust litigation practice, including managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, handling oral arguments, working with expert witnesses, and going to trial.
This is a particularly attractive and rare opportunity for an ambitious insurance defense litigator who has been looking for a chance to join a large, highly regarded regional firm while continuing to receive meaningful hands-on litigation and trial experience. Ideal candidates will have:
- 3+ years of substantive litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or a related practice
- Experience managing discovery, conducting oral arguments, and taking and defending depositions
- Demonstrated interest in developing as a trial attorney
- Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills
- North Carolina licensure or eligibility to obtain North Carolina licensure
